So we thought it would be interesting to get candid with Kathy, who is our SDG support team lead, and ask her a few questions to gain an insight into a day in her life.
Q: How many calls or emails does SDG receive in a day?
Kathy: An average of 75 -120 emails

Q: Which type of customers – Male or Female mostly call you?
Kathy: Male mostly.
Q: How challenging it is to deal with an SDG customer?
Kathy: It is not that challenging at all. Most of them are very polite and professional to deal with. I haven’t really had any bad encounters yet.
Q: Which sex doll brand is the most popular of all as per the query count?
Kathy: Jinsan (WM, YL, and OR) dolls. Irontech and AF are very popular too. In silicone, Sanhui and Sino have seen a huge surge in demand.
Q: What was the weirdest doll request by a customer? What was your reaction towards it?
Kathy: Liliana doll. The body is not in proportion, the head is bigger than the body, and the boobs are huge. It was kinda weird but no judgment here.

Q: Did you have any request from a customer that threw you off? If any, explain it briefly?
Kathy: Yes, a customer once wanted to order a vagina scent spray, to spray in the doll’s mouth. This was a new one for us since we didn't even know what such products existed. We found one on Amazon and bought it for the customer as a free gift. I got one for myself just to check it out and I may or may not have loved it ;)
Q: Any heart touching story a customer shared with you?
Kathy: Oh, so many. We hear from people on a daily basis and what brought them to the doll world. I don't want to share too many private details of a person's life, but I hear all types of stories. Some are dealing with a personal loss, some are couples trying to spice up their relationships, some are widowed men who do not feel like dating again, and some are younger folks (men and women) who want to explore their sexuality in a new way.
Q: Enlist the most common complaints by the sex doll owners/buyers?
Kathy: Most people complain about the smell of TPE skin. This is very common, but when they unbox their pretty doll they get worried that they'd have to live with the smell for the rest of the time now. However, the smell always fades away completely in a week or two when stored in a well-ventilated room.

Kathy: Most orders come from the USA and Canada.
Q: Which type of payment method do customers mostly choose?
Kathy: I think all are popular, depending on where they will get approved. The majority will pay with a credit card or PayPal. Bitcoin and payment plans like Klarna are also very popular.
Q: How do you really feel about this job?
Kathy: I’m very happy working at SDG. It is a great company with a very friendly culture and even better teammates. On top of it, the customers are very friendly and very professional to talk with. So I’m really happy with this job! :)
Q: Any customer’s feedback that added a grin to your face? Share with us briefly?
Kathy: It's always great when the customers are happy with their dolls. They share great reviews (as shown here). Some even email back with photos of their doll posing in different locations. It is always nice to experience this and definitely brings a smile on my face. It's nice to see that what we do here at SDG every day, all day long, brings true joy and happiness in people's lives.
It is always great to know what the person on the other side of the table thinks. And if you are a customer, it’s great to know that the SDG support team is always there and happy to help you. The support team tries to empathize with the customers, patiently listen to their problems/doubts and do their best to serve them.
